Our Parliamentary Candidate: Steve Mason

The prospective candidate for Thirsk and Malton at the general election will be local campaigner and councillor for Amotherby and Ampleforth, Steve Mason. Steve has been actively involved in campaigns in the area for ten years, first through his national profile in the Anti-Fracking movement, then as a leading member of the local party. In 2019 he was elected as the councillor for Amotherby on Ryedale council then in 2022 for Amotherby and Ampleforth on the new North Yorkshire council.

Steve lives in the constituency and advises organisations on how to deliver environmental and social value. He is married with two sons and a house full of dogs!
